Registration

The registration fee of $50 ($55 after May 1) includes the Friday reception, Saturday lunch, morning coffee and tea breaks, and the Saturday afternoon break. Registration cancellations will be accepted until May 1, 2009. Registration for the Saturday night banquet is separate and is $35/person. The registration form is in the Spring 2009 La Palabra - Click Here - on page 11. If you wish, you can scroll down to page 11, select "print" from the Adobe Acrobat Reader menu, and choose "print current page" to print out only the registration form. (Be sure and bring your whole La Palabra to Convention!).

Room Reservations at the Nativo

The special rate is $79 for a room with either a king bed or two double beds. Call the Nativo, as specified in La Palabra before April 22.

Silent Auction

Another rewarding and FUN auction will be assembled for your enjoyment. Please bring your auction items to the Nativo Lodge, 6000 Pan American Freeway NE, Albuquerque before the first session on Saturday morning, May 16. The meetings start at 8:30am. Bidding will continue all day and end at 7:00pm that night when dinner is served. Winners will be listed before the Sunday morning meeting begins, and items can be picked up that morning until 1:00pm. Bring some engaging items to pique our interest! The LWVNM thanks you for your assistance.

Directions to the Friday night reception

Turn left out of the front parking lot of Nativo Lodge.
Turn left (south) at the traffic light onto San Mateo Blvd. NE.
Turn left (east) at the next traffic light onto Academy Rd. NE. You will be headed toward the mountain.
Travel approximately 1.7 miles on Academy Rd. You will see a golf course on your right.
Turn right (south) on Knight Dr., the first street after the golf course. (If you go to the traffic light at Wyoming Blvd. you've gone too far.)
Turn left (east, toward the mounyain) on Charger Trail, the second street on the left.
7909 is on the left-hand (north) side of the street, just past a cul-de-sac on the left. It's a one-story brick house with a brick mailbox.
